Gluten free type of cornbread!! Yes!

It all started a few hundred years ago in Latin America. Venezuela enjoys arepas with onions and meat, Colombia loves them with cheese and salt…How do you like them?

I love them with cream cheese , smoked salmon and capers!

Arepa Recipe

Mix 2 cups warm water, 1 tablespoon olive oil , 1 teaspoon salt

Add in 2 cups of precooked cornmeal and let sit for 10 min

Then roll into balls with the palm of the hand and use your thumbs to turn them into mini ufos…lol

then flaten and cook in butter for 5 min or bake at 350 for 15 min.
