Chia Chocolate Almond Muffins

 

Now here is a healthy snack that everyone can enjoy!

Chia and almonds are  known for their protien properties, and as for chocolate, well, antioxidants here we come. If you replace the brown sugar with honey you have all your b vitamins needed!  Yes! A healthy snack for sure!!

Preheat oven to 475 degrees

Soak 3 tablespoons of chia seeds in 1 cup of water for 15 minutes.

In another bowl, add  1 cup of almond meal, 1 cup of sweetener of your choice, half a cup of non sweetened cacao, 1 stick of butter, 5 eggs, 1 teaspoon of baking soda and a half a teaspoon of salt. Mix together with a blender and then mix in the chia in the water.

Bake for 30 minutes et voila!!
